When does the KMs reset on Trip B?

Recommended Posts

On the very first day I bought my Aurion and drove it out of the dealership I reset Trip B and never touched it because I wanted to see how many KMs I've done since I bought the car. Checking today the KMs on Trip B have reset because I'm just above 2000KM on it now.

So I'm wondering when does Trip B reset?

When you reset it yourself by pressing the odometer/dash light dial and holding it in on Trip B.

Incomplete answer.

'Trip A' and 'Trip B' also resets back to 0 when each one reaches 10,000km respectively.

Hmm.. I figured it'll just max out on 9999 from running out of digits, never knew it reset itself to 0.. Or can it?

My trip B has never been used, so at 35,550km it currently reads 5,550.

The old-school mechanical trip meters always went back to 0, so it would be designed to behave the same as what people are familiar with.

This makes it 10 times better than the old trip meters that went to 999.9 before rolling back to 0.
