I'm fitting a reversing sensor kit that needs a positive power feed off the reversing lights. Does anyone know where I can find a wire to the reverse lamps, well, short of using a can opener? The reversing lights on an LC200 are on the tailgate which is not easy to wire off. Does anyone know an easier way to pick up a positive lead?

There is a connector in the jack compartment on the right hand side that feed the tail lights. (This is a great spot for the sensor electronics box). I checked as best as possible and it seems it just feeds the lights on the main body, not the tail gate. I traced all those wires with a meter. Parkers, brake lights and indicators etc. No, it's not the blue wire!

Maybe it's time to buy a workshop manual.

Cheers,
