I would stick with stock size. Don't think your rims would be able to use 225/50R15 as they may be too wide. Also will cause more stress on the engine since it needs to work harder to move. How much money do you want to spend on each tyre?

Well i need all 4 so as little as possible. Lol. I bought the car mainly cos it was cheap and i trust Toyotas.... And i know the engine due to having the same one in my mr2 jap import back in the uk. Cheapest i've been quoted for new ones is 320 for 4 Bridgestones on Ebay, Admittedly that doesn't include the $60 to get them fitted. If you know someone who has 4 tyres cheaper feel free to let me know.

Bridgestone are defo not budget matey. Lol. But yeah i've had budget tyres on past cars before and they definately are not any good for anything except burnouts or playground amusements.....
