Hi all

A queation regarding my 2.4 petrol 1992 tarago. I have only recently purchased it and it has done 130,000km and has been fully serviced by a toyota dealership. However I have recently noticed that the engine is rather noisy under load and especially when cold. I was thinking it maybe valve timing ??? or something as the next service it is due for is the 160,000km service (going on years rather than km's), and the book talks about valve timing adjustment at this service. I only paid 8K for the car so don't really intend taking to a Toyota dealer and being charged $250.00 for an oil change or $2,000.00 for a 160,000km service. Any suggestions, should I just forget about it or should I get it checked??

Cheers Coobs
