New stereo for use with Android phone

Hi all :)

So we've got a 2007 Yaris (Hatch) and as it's the YRS (middle) model it doesn't have an AUX output (not at the front of the stock stereo anyway, although there is a port for a cable at the back apparently). Anyway, it's been annoying me that I can't connect my phone to it to play music. I was looking into taking the fascia apart and buying an AUX kit to connect to the stock stereo, but that's going to cost a good $130 ish so I figure I may as well just buy a new stereo completely.

Now my needs are pretty simple. All I really want is something I can connect my Android phone to (so either USB, or 3.5mm jack) and ideally I'd like to be able to control it through the steering wheel controls.

I read some reviews, and the Panasonic DEH-6350SD (http://www.topaudio.com.au/pioneer-deh-6350sd-car-stereo-mp3-usb-cd-player-2011-model/) sounds like it might fit the bill, but I just have a few questions.

1. I've read up on the unit a bit, and from what I can tell it comes with something or other that will allow connection to the steering wheel controls on installation. A lot of others seem to need an additional purchase for a module to handle that. Is anyone able to clarify?

EDIT: Never mind, spoke to JB and I'll need an expensive adapter I think. I'll not worry about it.

2. Will it be able to control my Android phone (Galaxy S2). Annoyingly most of the units out there are built for iPods or iPhones and there's no mention of Android compatibility. I'd have thought it'd be fine if using it through USB, but again I'm not sure.

3. As I said, those are really my only requirements so is anyone able to suggest something more suitable? I won't be changing the stock speakers in the car or anything like that :)

4. I'll probably just be getting it installed at JB unless anyone can suggest a better alternative.
