Power window assembly for Rav4

my power window assembly has broken and needs replacing. The wires have frayed and while the motor works, doesn't want to play ball - needs replacing.

Where can I get one of these http://www.ineedarad.com/toranewpasif.html from without breaking the bank?

The one in the link is from the US and cheap but they want around the same to ship it.

Also, Ive seen a lot of newer version "X" configuration power windows for sale for newer Ravs' - would one of these fit the older version pre 2001?

There are a various different types. So you will have to be a little bit more specific…

• 2 door for 4 door?
  
• 3 pin or 4 pin plugs?
  
• Front or rear door?
  
• R/H or L/H?
  

There are many different wreckers in your area that may have your type of window reg available. Buy we will never know how long a used one will last...

If you do want to purchase from the US and they don’t send to Australia, try HopShopGo . They are part of PayPal and you can sign up for a US address then redirect the part(s) to Aus. Make sure it is compatible though.

To answer your question, no the newer model Rav 4 window reg will not fit in your 1999.
