Hi. We have just bought a 2007 Sportivo and just noticed that the high mount brake light isn't working. Being LEDs the entire light shouldn't have died.

We have checked the light but being a sealed unit can't see anything.

Fuses checked - runs normal brake lights and they are fine.

Having checked the manual it says call Toyota. Dont fancy the cost that Toyota will charge to sort this out. Surely there has to be a more logical reason than all the LEDs have died at once - they should outlast the car

With the car parked, engine switched off (try with ignition on too) and your foot on the brake, can you move the gear lever from Park to drive/neutral without having to use the "shift lock" button?

Also have you checked the fuse box under the glove box?
