hi,

can anyone tell me what size oil filter cap tool i need for my 2010 V6 rav4?

this is for the american model so not sure if it will fit models sold in Australia

Hi tomee, I think mate the v6 rav4 uses the same filter wrench socket as my kluger ,which has the same engine 2grfe, the filter socket is 65mm in diameter and mine is the geniune toyota filter socket , Iam pretty sure all socket filter wrenches are 65mm in diameter, I dont know if this is much use to you ,but only way ask around a few automotive places, they point you in right direction.

hmm so the whole thing is only 2.5" according to your measurement compared to 3.8" / 96mm on the amazon one

are you able to take a pic?

did some research on the tool number and it is 64mm so i suspect amazons measurements are wrong.

i purchased the part from amazon and hoping it fits.

does anyone know what oil Toyota uses on the rav4?
