Hi, noticed lately my cars been making a squeking sound when starting up and accelerating, usually when theres moisture around. Not sure if its my fan belt or something else needs replacing?

Am not a mechanic, but a DIY. If fan belt I would check the Tension of same, ie is the belt tight enough. On our Echo after purchase a belt tensioner seemed to make a noise (in the car yard pre sale probably was not driven much), If these are loose or worn they can make a noise.
