Hey guys,

so last night i was about to leave my house to go to the central coast so i started my car and tried turning the steering wheel and the wheel was so tight and strong that i couldnt even turn my wheel fully so i couldnt drive my car anymore then the P/S light turned on ? :(

the last things i did to my car was

Removed my sub&amp out ?

does anyone know what and why this has

happend ?

These models use electronic assisted steering,

Checkout page 288 of your manual and fuse 2 in the engine bay is for the power steering.

Pull it out, check its ok, and replace. Try again.

Another thing to try is to reset the car computer. I am not familiar with resetting the new corolla yet, but like most cars, disconnect the battery, wait 15 mins, and connect again. This will reset the gearbox's learning history as well, so might be a little sloppy with gear changes until it relearns your style..
