Hi guys,

I live near Bathurst N.S.W and I started to rebearing my gearbox and transfer case.

I have come to a stop as I cannot find any pulley (2 leg) that will do the job. Once you have the transfer case off the gearbox you have 3 bearings, 1 on the main shaft at the back and 2 on the counter shaft back and front.

My question is. Does any one know if you can hire the pulleys one very long (2 leg) and a small (2 Leg) from. Or a place I can take my gearbox and have them removed by some one who reconditions this boxes and will not cost me a arm and a leg.

Cheers

Hi,

Went to Toyota and paid $57.75 to remove 3 bearings from my landcruiser gearbox. Also I should have checked the spelling !! I wanted to know about a puller not pulley.
