Just bought a new 2013 Kluger KX-S and kept my pair of Aero Roof Racks from the 2004 CSX Kluger I traded. When I took delivery it was suggested to me that the 2004 Aeros should fit on the KX-S side rails.

So what happens? I get home and .. they dont fit. The 'across' length of each rack is ok but the key lockable end clamps dont quite match the rail profile and won't clamp around properly. The outer face of each KX-S side rail is of a different curvature to the 2004 Kluger so there is no full wrap around clamping action.

Even though I can get a bit of a tight grip the clamps won't curl under and I worry they might slip under load.

I know I can go out and buy a new set of racks and sell the older ones on eBay but does anyone who may have faced a similar problem know of a simple and more economic fix ?
