Hiya,

Long time Toyota fan, owned quite a few over the years, '76 RA23, '78 LT2000 among my favourites. Currently drive a 2006 Hilux 4x2 V6 Dual Cab, but she's up for sale so I'm looking around for a suitable replacement.

I've come across a '87 Xtra Track in pretty good nick and don't know a lot about them, was wondering if anyone could enlighten me.

This particular 1 is a 5spd manual, dual range gear box, manual locking hubs. 1 owner from new, the guy bought it when he retired and now in his 90's is letting his licence go so its up for sale. 210k on the clock, and it looks like noone has ever sat in the other seats, such is their great condition. Asking 3k.

Seems pretty tidy for the money, but i got no idea about them, Wouldn't be used much off-road except paddock work to my horses and maybe a trip on the beach occasionally, if I think its up to it.

Any info good or bad about this model would be hugely appreciated.

Cheers,

Bertie
