hey, i recently bought 4000K halogen lights by philips, and figured that they arent bright enough for me, still yellowish, just wondering whats the highest approved lighting. is it 6000K?

if you want bright lights, get the HID Xenon Kit. The Xenon starts from 4300K - 12000K

but make sure you have projectors or else you'll blind the oncoming traffics :)

hmm i know about the HID's but cant afford that just now :( so i want to get halogen globes for now, so are 6000K globes allowed?

i dont know what the exact colour of 6000k bulbs look like...

but the road rules only allow yellow or white coloured bulbs, they dont want blue.

if they see that they are obviously blue, you risk getting a fine

if brightness is what you are after, dont bother with these 'white/blue' bulbs...

they arent going to be any brighter, they might even be less bright than stock...

one option is to increase the wattage, but this isnt recommended as you may melt your wires.

ive got Narva Plus50s in my car, they arent 'White', but they are much brighter than stock :)

Just beware when you're buying bulbs. some are just plain dodgy, even if they're $60.

if you want something bluish get the MTECH Bulbs, they're fantastic. Rrp$50.
