I have just inherited my brother's 75 series Troopy. 1992 with only 265k on the clock. It is in pretty good condition apart from the rear bumper ( has the lights in it ) I can't locate one at the wreckers - will any other bumper say from a wagon bolt on?

Hi Ian,

The 76 wagon bar will fit but the sides are shorter & they have a slightly different way of attachment. Your best bet would be to keep an eye on ebay or Gumtree for someone who is replacing the standard bar with a rear wheel carrier bar. I am pretty certain any troopy bar since 84' will fit your car - I don't think the rear bar has changed at all except lights or no lights variants. Have a look around at anybody who does the fitouts for mines or emergency services vehicles in WA - there will eb a stockpile somewhere. You could also put a post on one of the more 4x4 dedicated sites like 4WD Action, 4X4 Earth or the LCOOL for example.
