Hey,

I've been locked out of my stereo, it's the touchscreen one with built in gps, bluetooth and sd card on the left.

It requested the code but the children had fun pressing the button trying to guess the code and locked it. It now says "please contact your dealer"

I'd love know how to reset the unit so I can input the correct code for it, without getting stung with a bill if it's something I can do myself.

Thank you :)

try 0000 ,but if its locked ,remove the neg on the battery for 20 Min if that doesn't work you in for some big $$$$ from Toyota

Tried them both, it's locked me out, no codes can be entered. Removed the neg (-) for 8 hours, no change.

Check how much the dealer will charge to unlock it ,i think is around 150- 200 its a 5 Min job

The five minute job is what I'm trying to find out, I don't want to pay 200 for a job I can do, I just need to know to know what to do
