91 tarago missing when hot, nearly caused accident!

Hi,

we have 91 Manual Tarago (442000km) that has had an intermittent problem for over a year now,

When motor gets warmed or hot (maybe 30 to 45 mins driving) its starts missing & jerking & then loss of power

i.e doing 100km on highway it can go down to 30 or 40 km !!! nearly had maor accident last week with van rear ending us.

Also once warmed up ,upon accelerating it misses badly & jerks too

The strange thing was on that trip once we pulle dover & turned motor off, then we proceeded with no acceleration issues for next 20 min still we got home.

next day with local running around no sign of problem

I,ve taken it to a new mechanic ( as we moved house) and he says he has not heard of this particular problem b4.

HELP.

has anyone had anything like this with their Tarago?

On the over flow bottle there are 3 bleed tubes make sure thay not blocked . mine were take the bottle nd kleen them out ??????

Under the bonnet drivers side . take it out. get a peice of wire put in the tubes to unblock them flush with water . open heater concontrol lever .put hose to pipe work and back flush them Google zen previa maintenance . it will show you the pipe work to flush
