Excited to have a new people mover!

Greetings Toyota owners.

Back in 2003 we purchased a used 1988 Tarago and it suited our family well, but at 26 yrs old this year it was rusty, leaking (when it rained the front seats and floor got wet), getting hard to find parts and experiencing electrical problems, so it had to go. Our kids were sad because they had grown up riding around in the van and the two L-platers in the family had wanted to learn to drive a manual (the Tarago), but it's gone.

So the replacement people mover (still needed for a few more years) ended up being essentially the same - a 2003 Toyota Estima (but a hybrid). Hopefully this was a good choice - it seems to fit the tall people in the family and hopefully saves us enough on petrol to justify the price. However getting the thing insured was a little challenging and a few people I've talked to think going with a gray import vehicle is too risky. Time will tell.

We actually had an old Corolla for a few years, so we are on our third Toyota. So far we've only driven pretty basic models, but we've been happy with the Toyota vehicles so far.
