Buyers of demos and second hand near new vehicles beware of a condition 10 which states that the fixed capped price service advantage does not apply to ex-rental, demos, Toyota employee vehicle program and not for profit vehicles.

I think it is false advertising when Toyota advertised the capped price service advantage when these are not available to the second owners who have no idea who the first owner is.

What are everyone thoughts??

They list it in the fine-print therefore it isn't false advertising. Standard practice for any contract/agreement is to read the fine-print, if you don't then you're opening yourself up to all sorts of situations and waiving any right to legal recourse.

From the Toyota Service Pricing and Eligibility website (the very first thing that popped up when I googled "Toyota capped price servicing")

Excludes Goverment, Rental, Fleet Not for Profit and Toyota Employee Family Vehicle Purchase vehicles. Contact your Toyota Dealer or go to toyota.com.au/advantage for other exclusions and eligibility.

      2015 RAV4 Rear Bumper Cover Removal & Installation

      Hi all. I am hoping someone can advise where I can find the instructions to remove the rear bumper cover on a 2015 Rav4 GX model and to install a new one. I am aware I will need to unclip the harness for the sensors. I assume I will need to remove the sensors from the old cover to the new one. How are the sensors secured and how do I remove them? Any advice and tips would be most appreciated. Thank you

      Glad you got it sorted Geoff. I think I got a win on mine too. I ended up replacing the entire unit inside the fuel tank. The pump was working but was very sick sounding. Also, the filter was very dirty too. I supposed it's to be expected after 14 years. What I can say is that I think some fuel was being pumped from the rear tank, but I think between the filter and the sick pump, it was not enough to empty the rear tank could empty quick enough. Maybe replacing the filter could have gotten me over the line, but I didn't want to have to do the job again. Perhaps if I was selling the car, I might have a different opinion. Its half a day that I won't forget anytime soon. I think I ended up with more diesel on me than on the ground....

      Centre Bearing Replacement

      Hey, Ive installed a new centre bearing on my 2000 model 2.7ltr Hilux. I replaced it due to a shuttering feeling coming from the drive shaft. After I replaced it I could smell the rubber burning and the shutter came back. Looked at the bearing and it has way too much play in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

      Wheels and tyres combos for various terrain

      I have run into same issue as previous post. Limited replacement choice for 245/60R18's on a stock 2019 GXL Kluger. Does anyone know if you can fit 255 on the stock rim instead. There is a much better choice in that tyre size. I have mailed a couple of Tyre places as well but no reply which makes me think that it is not legal.

      squeak when turn steering wheel sometimes

      hi l have a 2003 TOyota camry thats done 300,000km, l noticed sometimes but not often when l turn the steering wheel a hear a slight single squeak noise, maybe it happens once every second time l drive . l am getting it serviced in a couple of weeks to l will get it checked then, but what do you think is causing it, do you think its most likely a minor problem or could it be serious
