ST183 interior fan didnt change speed. the bottom all look fine to me just when i turn on it is always Maximum speed. anyone know how to fix it???

Fan speed is most likely controlled by a resistor pack built into the switch - when this pack fails or the contacts wear out the fan control will stick to one speed only, usually flat out (as that doesn't use any of the resistors). Common problem on AE82 and AE92 Corollas. Pull the switch out and give it a good clean

Hi Hiro, do u know where resistor located? any pic or manual so i can find it. thanks for help

As I said on older cars they're usually built into the switch assembly. Pull out the switch unit and have a poke around. If it's not there then it'll most likely be attached to the blower motor up under the dash in the passenger footwell

so i now take the resistor out and the part number is 077800-0090

where can i find the aftermarket replacement? :excl:
