{MO decomp not necessary, 7psi enough and do not exceed 5L performance by more than 10% -- you will need boost compensator to do that propperly My reasons are that the motor cannot dissipate the extra heat well, and if you overdo it, you'll crack the head or overheat the motor. be very careful how hard and how long you drive it hard. you will need digital temp gauges for water and exhaust. If it's power you want, buy a nissan with their bigger motors, otherwise put up with the modest but usually sufficient OEM motor. The L series is at the end of development, unless an alloy head becomes available, and that's unlikely. The Chinese have one for the 2.2L L motor with side cam and rockers, but I've no proof how good they are nor it they'll fit the later motors.
