2004 Camry Altise Air Conditioner problem

A week ago my aircon started blowing hot air, compressor clicks on etc

Low pressure pipe is hot and high pressure pipe is cold..ac bloke said its definitely the evaporator under the dash and I'm looking at $1000 to get it fixed.

is this a commen problem with 2004 camry altise? it was working perfectly until last week, unsure if I should get the evap replaced\fixed or just refill the gas and check for leaks

A thousand-dollar repair is not worth it. It is too long. I had a problem like this. I immediately called this company airconservicing.or. And you know what? I paid 180 dollars for the repair. It is five times less. Much less than what is required of you. It's just an AC accident. Ready to pay $ 1000 for cold air? How did you fall for this price? Tell us all that this company is so that no one else can be deceived. This money can buy ten new air conditioners. You must understand this. And don't be fooled by such prices anymore.
