Whining

Recommended Posts

I have just had my Kluger Grande checked for a whining noise. I was told it was from the transfer case. My question is, are they right? could it be from dirty oil that has not been changed over 80,000 Kms. Or could it be a diff?

Oil is due for a change; should have probably been done at 70,000 kms especially if you do a fair bit of towing or off-road driving.

Hopefully after the oil change, the whining noise will disappear.

Located this related thread and diff repairs were required.
