Floorboard on drivers side wet? help please

Hi All,

Quick question ive got a 2006 Toyota Aurion Atx and I have had a 3 day rain spree in the weather, so after the rain I opened my car door and my floor board was 1cm deep in water, I've dried up almost all of the water, I'm not sure how it got in try to figure that out.

Advice would be much appreciated

I would be checking the area underneath the wipers and clearing away any accumulated leaf litter etc. I am thinking that there is a drainage blockage and water is entering the cabin that way. This is just a guess.

yeah just noticed there is a small crack at the bottom of the windscreen thats probably letting the water in, so I'm getting a new windscreen tomorrow.

I doubt a crack in the windscreen would allow that much water in.

I'd check the fresh air intake as Campbeam  suggested. Too much leave litter in the plenum chamber can block drainage holes and it will overflow quickly.
