I only have a very basic knowledge of the vehicles electrical system. Years ago, I bought one of those eBay grounding kits, added a few of those grounding wires mainly from the engine block to the chassis/vehicle body. Quite honestly it did not make any noticable difference to the performance except having some visible thick red wires when you opened the bonnet.

I have noticed a thin grounding wire on my Aurion going from the block to the block to the chassis. There have also been a number of Forum posts e.g. dim lights where the solution has been to fix  a grounding connection.

There are a number of Big 3 Upgrade YouTube videos where existing wiring has been either replaced or retained in conjunction with an upgraded wiring using the same connections. I did note one video where the presenter reported a noticable improvement in cranking and engine start up on his old pickup truck. Checked the start up on my Aurion is totally fine in my opinion so no problem with the existing wiring for the starter motor.

I have got a few thoughts about mainly retaining the existing ground wiring and adding upgraded wiring using the same connections. The other thought is running a wire from the negative battery terminal to the nearby chassis rail area.

Seeking any suggestions or feedback from those who have done this Big 3 Upgrade or similar.
