So i have noticed when i put my aurion in reverse i back out put the brakes on the car "bounces" slightly. I have googled this and most responses come up "jerking" its not jerking its literally a bounce. I have recently replaced the struts the mechanic said my brakes were down to 3% at the front. Would it be a brake thing? or possible trans mount? or a crapped out tranny? I have noticed the tranny is a bit jerky when changing gears sometimes

Noticed your post earlier but have no experience with your vehicle's "bounce" issue.

I have been thinking that it could potentially be a torque convertor issue. However, this could be biased thinking because I have previously researched torque convertors for possible future replacement purposes.

As your mechanic has advised you that the front brake pads are down to 3% remaining life, this should be a high priority issue and could potentially be the underlying reason for that "bounce" issue.
