Hey there,

Wanting to alter the genuine Toyota tray so I can bring tool boxes all the way to the edge. However, it’s not possible due to a strip of metal (assuming anchor points) running down both sides. Is there a way around this? Grinding off the lip sticking up? Doesn’t appear ‘structural’ in any way if I grind the top lip off only

pic is one off the Internet. My Ute does not have rear ladder racks etc. it is a bare tray at the moment

thanks

Check and see if its held in place with any fixings, such as Rivnuts and just drill them out
