Hi all,

I will be going away for around 10 weeks next year over the colder months and intend driving to Sydney Airport and leaving my SL in long stay airport parking. I think this model (2019) has NiMH batteries? As normal NiMH batteries slowly self discharge over time is it advisable to leave the car parked for that long?

I believe that Toyota has software in the car to compensate for that but I'm concerned that I might have problems when I get back. Will that long time have any bad effects on the battery?

Thanks.

Well, what I was thinking of doing never eventuated - I got someone to drive me to the airport - so I still don't know the answer to my question.
