HI Fee, thats not good driving silent i know what its like 😞 ,

anyway after about err-5 attempts myself and i could not do it, my partner took over and was able to get rid of the sec code COMPELETLY (no more security code).

first step- off he watched a video on youtube (will put link at bottom of message) about 5 times before it sunk in,if your radio model(model number should be on front of face mine was under vol/on-off button) is in the list on the video you to should be able to get rid of the security code as well.

2nd step-you need to put any code in for 10 attempts until it takes you to the help menu then put in 2 designated codes for your radio player and it will shut of completly(dont panic you have not done anything wrong you just unlocked it) then you should be able to turn on your stereo and work it as normal, hopefully it should work for you too it explains it all in the video

click on this video and it explains it all in here.

please let me know if you are succesfull and you have your radio back if it does HAPPY LISTENING it worked for us ,so it should work for you too , hope to hear from you soon , take care

Thank you very much for your effort to respond. I did try that but still didn’t work for me.

I disconnected and reconnected the wiring three times and it seemed to miraculously work.. yay I have Sound.

cheers…
