Aftermarket Tail Lights?
Thanks Herb. I tried searching wreckers but I only came up on the old fashioned OEM lights which I don't fancy. I decided to give google one last try and surprisingly found two more leads from Indonesia with the color I like. Hopefully they do support overseas shipping. I keep you guys posted on what happens next. -

Aftermarket Tail Lights?
Hi Eijas, My 1995 Hiace needed new tail light assemblies, to pass a road worthy. I tried searching wreckers, and the best I could find was only the RHS ones, at $150 each. Then I did a Google search and found a pair of brand new ones, for $119 delivered. They were not genuine Toyota, but fitted perfectly. Try searching for yours, and include the model and year. Herb -

Aftermarket Tail Lights?
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has a clue about where to buy these aftermarket tail lights specifically. For context I have searched for hours and found it to be sold by Eagle Eyes Automotive however only the clear/smoke variants are available in their Asia store, and the red ones still elude me. My leading theory is that the lights are discontinued as the adverts I saw were from 2013-2016 except for a shop in Thailand which posted in 2020. I live in the Philippines so the models here are marketed as Camrys. And as such they are left hand drive, but I figured since it is essentially a rebadge I'd ask the folks down under for any ideas where I might be able to buy them, or better yet if anyone has them I'd be willing to buy them secondhand. Many thanks. -

2019 Kluger 2WD Transmission whine
Hi our 2018 Kluger AWD developed a whirring sound in the transmission/transfer case at 115,000 kms in June of this year. 2024, it’s always been serviced on time and also had extra engine oil changes in between so every 5000kms. I took it to Toyota in Tanunda SA and paid $160 to get it assessed and they picked up the noise and they said to monitor it, its coming from the driveline and some noise isn’t unusual for this model. I asked if they can check the transmission fluid which they said was a bit dark and would recommend a change soon. However they did tell me you have to as the customer to request a transmission service or they will never do one. I also had fitted a year ago an evc throttle controller to take out the lag of the accelerator they noted this as if to say this could be contributing to the transmission issue. The car is never driven hard with the evc it is there to lesson the delayed response that these models have. I feel Toyota don’t want to know about the issue at all. This is the second Kluger we have owned having no issues with our 2012 FWD model and we are disappointed we are having this issue. As of today after a recent transmission fluid and transfer case oil change the noise it is getting louder and its on 118,569 kms. I am thinking of taking it to a Trans specialist to get a diagnosis. -

80 series Land Cruiser - Noise in drivers front wheel
I have an intermittent zippy, rumbly noise coming from under the front drivers side which started mildly a year ago. Originally it was so subtle like I had run over the edge of those rumble strips on the side of the road. Unsure of where it was coming from and not being able to have the noise occur to show the mechanic, I recently placed a Go pro camera under the car. The footage was captured going around 95kph. Anyone able to know what the noise might be? It is currently in the shop having investigative surgery. 20240627_164145.mp4
