Landcruiser 100 Series Price
Thought i’d pop by head in and ask. I’m trying to help my dad he has a Landcruiser 100 series that he’s thinking of selling it has a, 1FZ-FE engine, it has about 350,000 mileage on it. pros : jacked up suspension, long range tank cons : one cylinder is misfiring, needs new exhaust manifold gasket. Not really sure how much is a reasonable price to sell for. Hope yall enjoy the rest of your day -

2003 Corolla Conquest - Correct Brake Pads?
Hi Hiro, I will have to take them off and check next time then. I don't want to buy the wrong pair. I am pretty sure there is only 1 size for the rear. -

Front end clunk and driveers front tyre moves
Grab a tyre iron or Jimmy bar, Jack it up only enough to get the bar under the wheel, and when on full lock try to move the wheel up Down In & Out, have someone observe the Ball Joints, sounds like they have a big Flat spot, ( Buggered )when the weight of the ute is on them, yet jack it up and all is good -

Brake issues
Fitting new new rear rotors without adjusting the the shoes to the new unworn diameter is asking for trouble with overheating the rear rotors causing distortion I have worked in the brake industry for about 40 years & what I don't have an idea about what's going on is not worth knowing. Dtv can come from machining practice from new to in field machining as well as installation procedure & what to look for prior to fitting. Ray. -

Land cruiser 2020, 200 series brake upgrade for towing
We towed a 3.5t caravan no brakes problems. It all comes down to having your trailer brakes setup correctly. From your post, your trailer must be heavy and therefore would require to help with the braking and take some load off the car. Just on brakes though try this: https://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/66213-brake-issues/ -

2003 Corolla Conquest - Correct Brake Pads?
Both Aisin and Sumitomo are OEM suppliers (Akebono is another one that Toyota sometimes uses), there are several different brake setups on the Aus-delivered 9th-gens (ZZE122/ZZE123) and there isn't a clear distinction as to which model received what and why (apart from a few specific cases) Mixture of Japan and South Africa, which can be easily distinguished by the VIN. Jap-built will start with J, South Africa with AHT. All Sportivos are South African, all wagons are Japan, most of the rest are Japan too but with some South African (in particular on the base model I believe). In short, the easiest way to work out is to look at what is currently fitted to the car. The shape is different between the two, there are also two different rotor diameters (255 and 275mm). -
