RATTLING CAMRY 2013

I really hope someone can help me with my annoyingly loud problem… my camry has a loud rattle whenever its in gear, it stops once its in park or neutral. Ive checked the heat shields they are good. If anyone has any suggestions, ill be much appreciated… plus when its warmed up and driven around its harder to start. I’ve attached a video of the rattle, you can hear when i put it into gear it rattles then stops when its in park. My bad I’ve accidentally put two of the same vid (don't know how to delete it)

How long have you owned the car?

There could be more than 1 issue, so it is best until proven otherwise to treat them as 2 separate issues.

Firstly in regards to the noise, have you checked the Engine and transmission mounts?

In regards to the "hard to start":

- Is it that the starter motor sounds like it's struggling?
- Does it crank properly but the engine takes an excessive amount of time to start up?
- Have you noticed and excess fuel smells coming from the exhaust? Have you checked the spark plugs to see if they are pointing at an issues (perhaps a leaking injector) etc?

I don't know of any common issues, simply because I don't have that year model Camry, but "the basics" still apply.

@Novicebutnice I appreciate the reply, I’ve changed the engine mounts but i didn't change them all at the same time, I'm presuming they could have a factor in the rattling, i forgot to mention that when the A/C is turned on its louder but onve turned off it dies down alittle.

With regards to my car not starting, the starter motor sounds and seems fine when i turn it over, to me it seems like a fuel thing, like its not getting enough fuel to fire it, idk… theres no fuel smell but there is a strong odd smell when im sitting there idling, its that strong i have to turn the car off. Not sure if thats any help, or just ANOTHER problem to my list of things 😐

Speaking of problems, it now has a clicking sound when i dry turn and while driving and turning in the front passenger, it sometimes clicks over bumps too.. i changed the CV, (still there) so i will be changing the upper strut mount today, do you have any suggestions as to what it might be if my upper strut mount doesn't work.
