I have a couple of dizzys ex 18RG and as I am restoring my Corona GT I want to pull the points and fit a more reliable igniter assembly like fitted to the L28 datsun engine/Skyline L24's. I have photos of the 18RG Nippon Zdenso conversion but they are dated. The 18RG dizzy is different from the 18RC as the shaft is shorter and does not have the oil pump key/tongue. So a late Corona Celica dizzy wont fit. Anyone done the conversion and what did you use? Anyone got old 18RG bits around?
