I've been talking to a few members and wanna put this idea out to the greater community.

I was thinking of setting up some form of vocal communication between fellow TOCAU's

I have played with many systems and the best one to date (that I have played with) is called Team Speak.

It is easy to use, easy to setup / admin and doesn't use tooo much bandwith.

The only things you need is a PC, Braodband (fast interent) and a good working Mic & Speakers

Those without a good mic can dicuss a solution via the PM :)

Think of it as CB radio over the internet!

Now before there is a UPROAR over which program is better, dont bother. we need something that is to use and install! so no bitchin'

So please, get the comments rolling in. I wanna know wot people think of the idea.

More details will come to hand depending on members reactions :D

MSN is limited to a vocal chat between 2 people :(

but would it be hard to understand each other if we all trying to say something at the same time like on the cb's u have to make sure no one is speaking before u can talk ot they wont hear u.

i didn't know u could only voice chat to 2 ppl. thats just dumb...........how come we can have group convo's but not group chats?

Theres a program called PALTALK that my gf's dad uses.

Seems to function alright

Yeah, I have a mic/headset to use, I need to try out the newlaptop and see how it goes sometime, i use skype and msn anyhow, as long it works well
