Hey hey, all you SillyCar owners! i've been a reader of this forum ever since i got word i might be getting an ST205WRC. Now that i can call myself a proud owner of one, im here to introduce myself!

For the price i got my baby, I'm pretty happy, and i still cant get over the fact that its finally mine!! Its not exactly in pristine condition i'll admit, but that adds to the fun of restoring it to its original splendour! Condition is stilll good though. Heres some pics of her:

w00t! (sorry about the blurriness) (mm... waxy)

Needless to say, I am loving my purchase so far!

But like i said - its not in pristine condition, nor is it the way i want it:

- brake pads need changing - she squeals in pain every time i brake....

- scratches all around the inside of the boot - what the hell did the last dude carry back there?

- intercooler coolant needs replacement i think (ECU Code 54... i hear theres controversy over that one)

- oil needs a change, easily done though

- torn drivers side seat... really aggravates me... some torn upholstery elsewhere too

- many small dings and dents and scratches all over tha place, some of which look like they were painted over with permanent marker <_<

- a yucky looking exhaust pipe thingo (not sure of its name..., haha sorry, im a newbie, forgiv-a-ness please)

- missing the ashtray at the back (not that i smoke, but its missing nonetheless...)

- very plastic-feeling clarion head unit, need to replace it once i get some mula

- theres this fin at the back of the car that my beemer-owning friend pointed out - it looks glued on, and i dont think its standard at all.

- scraped, but factory, rims

- indicator makes a weird noise every now and again

wow, long first post

ok, ill end now before i get too eager, haha

I'll end by saying that i hope to learn as much about my car as possible, with your help (please!), and to share my limited knowledge as well. I'm new to the celica... and to be honest.... motoring in general

This is actually my first car - and what a car! I'm obviously inexperienced, but thats why im here. thanks in advance, looking forward to getting to know alla you SillyCar enthusiasts!

Ciao for now! Rallye6

will do, ill protect her with my life . got lots to do with regard to maintenance and detailing though

with regard to the price, its hard to tell whether or not it was a bargain: cost me 15k, but the catch is a (slightly) neglected car with over 220000km on the clock
