Seat Belt twisted in VZV21 Camry

My Roadworthy people tell me that a Left hand seat belt is twisted 180 degrees out.

On checking a second car its twisted as well.

The only way to align it is to remove the lower bracket and twist it 180 degrees so the belt lies in the correct sense.

Trouble is the bracket at the floor is offset to permit the belt bracket to pivot free.

Turning the bracket around is not the correct option.

Maybe I can undo the intertia reel and pull the belt off the end and rotate it?

But I don't think so.

How did two Toyota end up same? factory error?

Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it??

The belt is definitely 180 out.

It is supposed to drop from the intertia pivot point straight down to the floor with the seat buckle outside and the belt is flat all the way down no twist.

If I got this right then try folding the belt on itself where it passes through the slot in the belt clip and work it around till it is back to it's correct sense. Takes a little patience... Ignore this suggesttion if I got it wrong. :)
