  1. Crisis averted haha. Checked around the net for descriptions of the fuses. Turns out that the DOME fuse runs one of the H/U power supplies, and the RADIO fuse runs the other (who would have guessed huh?). Anyhow, the dome one was fine, but the RADIO fuse was blown good. Replaced it and the H/U works fine. Now all I have to figure out is why the fusion amp I'm installing goes into protection mode. The JBL amp works fine when I tested it, so I'm thinking my mates Fusion amp is just dead. (The fusion amp is going in so I can sell the car with sound as I took all my pro gear out for my new car) /paragraph!
  2. Hmm, but which one is the one for the memory then hehe. I've just made a topic about my problem but can't hurt to add it here. I need to find the fuse for the constant/memory in my '98 camry, have no idea which one it is so if anyone knows, give me a bell!
  3. Well I was installing a HU into my '98 Camry Conquest, and totally forgot to disconnect the battery negative terminal, silly me Anyhow, the blue/white constant power cable has no power, and I assume it's because I have a blown fuse (long day, very tired, ended up shorting the ground and constant power cables) Anyhow, I'm not sure what fuse controls this? I've checked a few of the likely ones but couldn't find a blown one. Any help would be most appreciated :)

    HELP!

Well didnt you say that the 17" monitor had the same problem that the 19" widescreener just developed? Try the 17" again with the new drivers, may not be broken. And if it is, bin it. Cheaper to buy a new monitor really

    HELP!

Try a new monitor to video card cable :D Use a program called DriverCleaner to install the lastest graphics card drivers for your card SHOULD be one of those 2
  6. SportsLux version looks cool. 24's? They dont look it, the wheel arches must be huge?
  7. I quite like the looks of that :) If it comes in black I'd be tempted
  8. 3SGTE and ST185 driveline (from memory), both of which are still well supported over here. Yeh there is that. TBH I really dont need the power of the caldina though. Im afraid if I give myself the power, then Ill go and use it in the wrong places and lose license which isnt a good thing being in the Air Force
  9. Yeh the 2004 Caldina GT-4 looks hot as! But I was thinking parts and services might not be so cheap?
  10. Well Im in the market for a new car, preferably a wagon. I saw the thread of the other guys Corolla Wagon that he has done up and it looks a treat. The only problem being is the power of them. Now Im used to my V6 camry, and I dont want to lose too much power in my next car. So what was wondering whas how easy would it be to get the kind of power of the Corolla Sportivo 123 from the 122 engine...and a rough estimate of prices perhaps? My budget is around $25k for car and mods Im thinking. Thanks in advance, just want to know how feasible this would be, or if I should look at a liberty wagon maybe
  11. For crying out loud, IM AN ADULT! I deserve to look at WHAT I want WHEN I want ';..;' I dont think they should be blocking content to protect kids and have every one else loose out too.
  12. Ooo that looks the goods anyway. Messaging him now.
  13. Thanks mate, Ill go to a wreckers this arvo. AFAIK if they dont have it there they can find a wreckers in australia with one yeh? Like they have a big database or something. Anyhow you were right I do plan on selling the camry, I'm wanting a wagon these days. I was gonna get the '02 touring wagon and put the GTP kit on it but that idea fell through, as I want a manual + not front wheel drive. And because toyota dont wanna sell the caldina and support it in australia, I'm thinking of the Liberty wagon now.
  14. '98=gen 4.0 :) Oh and it doesnt really matter if its gen4 or 4.5 if I buy left and right does it? EDIT: Oh I get it, if I get just the outer sections of the 4.5 style it probably wont fit in with the trunk section of the gen 4 style eh?
  15. Hmm the other option is buying a new set both left and right, but in a new style. If you can remember that white gen4 in the modded camry picture thread on camcrew, it ha the clear rear lights, where could I get something like those
  16. Hey guys as topic says, I had my car in a parking lot and some one had reversed into my car, not sure how they managed to ONLY break the light assemble and not put even a scratch on any paintwork, but I guess I should be thankful it was only the light. Anyhow yeh the orange blinker bit on the rear left side has been all smashed and cracked so I need a new one and prefereably soon. So my question is, what are my best options for obtaining the assembly (I assume thats what I need), are they still sold new? Or aftermarket? Or wreckers? Cheers, Westy

I have a '98 Gen4 Conquest that has just clocked over 234 ###km's and as far as I can tell is driving just as well as new, theres just a few things need done like new struts and steering wheel bushes. Oh and now I need a new rear left light assemble as some one in a car park decided to reverse into my parked car grrr ';..;'
  18. 229 850km, 98 camry conquest. 1st owned by the local detective, who old it to our chiropractor '00, who sold it to mum in '02 who sold it to me in '08 lol. Most of those km's were from mum going to see family all the time as the nearest family member was like 500km away
  19. Hey guys, name is Daniel. Refer to me as Westy :D I am in the RAAF and am training on a navy base called HMAS Cerberus in VIC but I am from Port Macquarie NSW. I am 21 as well. Finally decided to come here. Been member of camcrew for a few months now as well. I own a 98 (sky?) blue camry conquest sedan auto. It has done 229900km (need to book it in for service, any tips on what needs to be done and cost to expect?) Well this car has been in the family for the last 6 years, and mum bought a new car and gave me this after she took pity on me for driving around in a 1988 jap import edition 1.3ltr 4sp manual hatchback corolla (i loved that thing) So yeh I consider the car to be pretty damned boring as far as cars go, but I will give it credit for being stupidly smooth and comfy and never missing a beat. Im pretty into my sound systems which is constantly being built upon as I get more money to waste :) I am thinking of buying Black Jet's corolla sportivo and selling the camry so hopefully all goes well there and I'll be zipping around in a loud fast car (loud on the inside anyway lol) Here are some pics of the old corolla just for the fun of it, and some of the current camry.
