yes but you also have lighter cars and traction control dont you ;) oh yeah and sub zero temperatures ;) but thx all the same Lucio - No I dont think so because we have proven time and time again that stock our cars were mid 15's the big thing is still lack of torque. all this extra power I have is noothing without it ;) traction is the main concern...if anyone has an LSD out there?? (03mike) maybe they could shine some light on the launching aspects of the car as we are only ever in that power band on the drags for 2 seconds...the rest of the time we are in lift all the way ;)

I think the one on the left was a 200sx or a 180 and the one on the right is a forrester GT (look at his 60 FT ) there were a fair few silvias and 180's there this night...some fast ..others not so fast....but a fun night all the same in the rolla ;)

Thx to you all again for all the well wishes and praise. Yeah I'm racing another mate from 'Velocity Import Performance' in his Turbo'd 1JZ Soarer I won the first race - with bad start nad lost the second - bad 1-2 This event was at what we call a test'n'tune meet which is held every week to 2 weeks at Willowbank Raceway which is to the west of brisbane as Azza pointed out. It costs $34 to race (as many time as you can fit in from 4.30 - 9.30) and that fee also allows an extra person in the door. alot of fun :D

Have a search around the forums and you'll find a bit of info on this topic. basically you tune ignition timing and other settings with the chip to make the car run more efficient. this takes a few hours on a dyno machine and the end results are varied pending on who when and where you get the tune done. 32Bit chip has more tuning points from what I hear? Its a personal choice if it is worth it....you can pay 1300$ for a set of headers and get only 5kW or you could spend similar money on a unichip and get 10kW ???
