it looks like all toyota hoses it may be in an aea where alot of things could rub on it think of it as a sacrificial shieth so as not to damage the actual hose

from my experience from working at ford with both general customers n police persuite vehicles u could tell the diffenece in perforamce between the cop cars n the general use car and the only difference between the 2 is the way there driven from birth thrash it from birth it will fly but for wear on the engine best thing to prevent wear is more regular services i know alot of people with commodores now every one knows they have rear main leak issues but the people i know service them every 5000km and they've never had ne problems with them so yeah that my little bit of input

if it already has a an a an A series motor any other A series motor will drop straight in n the 4agze will give u good performance out of the box but u still have trans and diff to worry about when u go for more power

you guys know torque ok yes it is in derect relationship to engine capacity but these day with variable valve timing induction lengths and even compresion all play there parts also which is why gm acheive max torque at lower rpm compresion actually plays a major part this is why forced induced engine make so much for the actual engine size

this is mine i know it kinda looks stock but it turbo 4age with works rods cp pistons garrett turbo south coast rotory custom exhaust manifold (thanks kev n jr) SCR tuned with microtec lt10s individaul coils but stock cams still oh n i got a machanical LSD in a front driver crazy

i hate to say it but i believe for toyota to release a trd corolla the figures have to be atleast a 40kw gain on the standard car n still meet emissions emissions is the reason for the many delays on the trd hilux (so i heard)

i must say do u know how rare it is for a corolla to have a valve train problem or any toyota ohc motor for that fact with the exception of the twin cam 4.2 desiel as that has a rocker arm set up i believe could be wrong have been before

your not a mechanic are you both astras n focus's ***** car yes the xr5 goes n sounds nice but just as many reliability issues as the other models i dont under dtsand how gm n ford have lasted this long with between 70-95% of repairs being warranty work aposed to 10-30% of jap companies where do the other companies go wrong

ah got ya well i pa $60 for sin 10 penrite oil but my cars no vvt rolla mines an old boat anchor 4agte for castrol edge i think its about average for the the 5w30

refer to your owners manual it tells u temp ranges for types of oil but toyota recomends 10w30 in all vvt motors

are you guys talking bout the south african corollas (check 1st 3 letters of vin if start AHT you do) if you do aftermarket rotors n toyota have releast a revised pad

ok i lie its n ae102 RV but now its technically a ae101 as it has a 4age (1.6l) engine in it easy conversion only had to change 2 engine mounts 1 for the engine the other for the ze5sp lsd (big box i put in to handle the power)

just incase u guys dont have sportivo's but would like to up grade the bolt straight up disc n caliper so like i said if u dont already have a sportivo but would like to have the brakes u can to save money i suggest going to a wreakers if u cant fint the calipers of a sportivo corolla a celica will fitt to i have celica st184 calipers on my car (ae102) 2mm spacer between disc n hub n sportivo sloted rotors

120000km service on your particular camry is only like air filter brakefluid n coolant as u've already done the coolant cross that off wat else is on a 120000 on a 98 camry sparkies are every 100000km i know that a timing belt every 150000km i know atf diff n trans i beleive there seprately filled on that model
