  1. Peter, i informed Aur3on that we are staying close by, we just need to decide which place to go to, yours or mine. I am ok with either. I PM u my contacts, just give me a ring to let me know.. Cheers mate.
  2. Ah yes I can if rowan and ingres act promptly, it may not to be too late...... i can only try if the package hasn't been shipped. and will aslo need to make the diffrence up. AUR30N Rowan, if you want that, you can contact Aur3on today to make the changes, i am ok with anything as long as i can help. Hope you still can make it..
  3. Sorry Rowan, didn't see your message until this morning, i think Aur3on already confirm everything with the Thai side. But if you need me to help you order anything just let me know.
  4. Thanks. Yeah they look awesome on the car. I can't get over how great condition they are in. Not a mark on them, just like new. Your old rims already looks good but the new rims look awesome... A great choice of rims..
  5. depends on your postcode between $20 to $50 cash on delivery insured. - unless you i send to 1 person in WA and you pick up personally from there. It would be heaps cheaper I'm not sure how close all you guys are to each other and if you guys want to do it that way. AUR30N I think that's a good idea... I think the one closest to the City should be the centre point of contact. I live in Karawara which is 10min drive to the City so I don't mind. What do the others think? What about to Fremantle? :P even close to city :P I don't mind picking up from there.. So long as no one's in Rockingham and other far flung places :P Any of you staying in Brisbane Area??
  6. Eclipse and Alpine are good aftermarket units for your car, before i installed mine, i am looking at the Eclipse AVN6000 and Alpine IVA-502e. Eventually settle for the Alpine as the Eclipse AVN6000 does not allow you to dial your phone numbers from the screen. (it has been in the market for around 4 years now). At that point of time, the newer Eclipse unit are not available in Australia, but now the AVN726EA is available. It would be a much better unit though.. As for navigation, i think the Alpine loses out in comparison with the Eclipse unit, it just have the basic features, nothing fancy.. Also if you buy the Alpine unit, u have to add Bluetooth, Ipod, Reverse Camera, Steering Wheel Controls etc which is additional cost. For Eclipse, the new unit already has Built-in Bluetooth and if i am not wrong, it doesn't need the steering wheel control adapter.. but i am not sure how much it cost though.. should be pretty expensive. The boot up time for Alpine and Eclipse are pretty fast, both only a few secs..
  7. If you find it hard to drive at 40km/h for 100m or so, then get off the road, you can't control your vehicle at all. I'd hate to see you in a carpark then, you'd be bouncing off cars left right and centre. Yes it seems slow, but that's the point of school zones - the slower you go, the more likely you are to see and react in time to a little kid jumping out from behind a car. School zones are one area where I think that the speed limit is perfectly acceptable, plus it's perfectly acceptable for the cops to set up radar traps there because speeding through a school zone _is_ dangerous, even moreso than on a normal road. I got friends who receive a fine when their speed is 45-48km/h, i usually keep within the limit just that sometimes i forget about the time of the school zone thats all, haven't receive a speeding ticket so far in Australia...
  8. Sometimes it is the school zone that i am worried about, its really hard to travel at 40km/h. But not much of a choice there, since the police like to ambush almost every alternate days outside the area i am staying..
  9. I have asked for a quote in Brisbane area before, the guy quoted $300 (inclusive of installation) with 1 year warranty. I know quite alot of Asians get it done over there so not sure whether you are interested? Just PM me if you are interested so that i can give you the address of the place.
  10. I would like to do a bank transfer as well... will that be possible? Aur3on i have sent you a PM, please let me know whether a bank transfer is possible? Cheers mate..
  11. Of course you can. The kits that are around the $60-$100 come in all bulb designs. Daryl, if you can find me a kit, that would be greatly appreciated... i have recently noticed that one light bulb in my car is starting to go... so a replacement bulb would be best off spent on a HID kit :P Evo This is something Drew recommended but Daryl say 50W is too bright, the price is highly than what Daryl recommended also.. you might want to take alook at the website though.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=370195239227
  12. Sweet... Now waiting patiently for the moderator to approve the group buy then we are a go.. Cheers.
  13. Apparently the guy who is selling the device told me that if anyone is using a radar and shoot it at your car, the device will have beeping sound to advice you to slow down, then the guy say the same thing, when u manage to slow down, you can unpluck the device so that the police can get a reading on your vehicle.. not sure whether anyone has it on their cars and tested that it really work well. I am staying near a place surrounded with school zone.. hahaha.. and it is a hot spot for police to be around all the time..
  14. Did anyone have any luck with Laser Jammer equipment in their cars? Found a shop selling this product and did a search on the internet, apparently the shop is selling the same product for $550 plus $100 installation in Brisbane. Not sure how popular is Laser Jammer here in Australia, but i know it is pretty popular in Asian Countries. Anyone like to share their experience on Laser Jammer Products in Australia?? http://www.delonixradar.com.au/laser-jammers/conqueror/m18/#
  15. Haha, didn't know the thing can cause the car to shake till that in the video.. will that be harmful to the car in any way??
  16. AUR30N yup for sure I will send email in morning and see what price he can do us for this amount of grills also last when i checked currency on friday it was higher so its looking good. :D Any update from the mail you send??
  17. Don't really like it, find that it is too attention seeking... but it would be nice if you can find lots of different mods in Australia to match what other countries are doing. Thailand is pretty famous for their creativity though..
  18. Woohoo...looks like we have enough numbers to go for it yeh ? yup for sure I will send email in morning and see what price he can do us for this amount of grills also last when i checked currency on friday it was higher so its looking good. :D Cheers Mate, Can't wait for it to happen. Hopefully it will be soon. Thanks once again for organising it..
  19. Same here.. would like both mesh grill and eyelid...cheers mate..
  20. I am very interested, i am staying in Brisbane. Cheers Mate.
  21. Well, if i were to entrust my car to some1 else, I'd still leave my keys in case of anything should happen that requires him/her to move the car aside. That's not the issue here thou.. Besides it's her fiances sister.. I agree with the fiances sister part, sometimes it is better to avoid the confrontation, it's family afterall. Just avoid similar incidents from happening, bring along the keys or entrust the keys to someone else and keep the car at home. Sometimes its extended family that is the hardest to lash out.
  22. Nunawading Toyota (Melbourne) guy said same thing, you ready? $1261.00 fitted(yeah right),terminoligy must be in the toyota salesjerk handbook. WOW, that's really a ridiculous pricing. I guess the more they managed to sell, the higher the comm..
  23. Sorry to hear about your misfortune mate. Next time, just bring all the keys along with you, think it will cost less than parking in the airport. You can then park the car at home and enjoy your holiday with ease.
  24. i know a man can do it for $310. and he can simple go to your home to install it, if you live near his town. it will take appx 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the job. Is the person in Brisbane? I am looking at Fog Lights as well. Let me know. Thanks mate. sorry mate, he is in Sydney. However, i can ask him whether he can post parts to you. Then you only got one thing to do is find your local workshop to do it for you. They shouldnt charge more then $100 for labour. Morover, the fog light units will only cost you around 200. its still cheap It alrite mate, if he is not in brisbane then it is ok .. just got a quotation from one of the shop for both HD plus fog light .. dunno whether i should change the HD light as well.. sigh..
