  1. http://www.carbling.com.au/component/optio...id,26/vmcchk,1/ I kno you said you didnt want websites, but I ordered from these guys sometime last year. Delivery is quick, you get to pick what colour pod you want, and is pretty cheap. I bought two of em, 1 for myself and another for a mate. - Will
  2. Hello Andrew, Hows it going mate. This is William, if Ive got the right andrew and the right car I think you were the one that bought my old stivo. Good to see its in good hands and given its CAI upgrade. Hope you post up its build up over time as Im interested to see what happens with it. - Will
  3. damn you kaze. I love the practicality of my 4 door stivo but thanks to you and your damn car I want a Type R now! *jumps up and down* Although if I did it would definately turn into a giant money pit. - Will
  4. No to Volk GT-C's lol too fancy and shiny. Time attack ce28's are more hardcore race orientated. Assuming thats the style kaze wants to go for :P - Will
  5. lol yeah its a leet car man thanks mate =] its stock imagine some... takata green te37's or j-time attack ce28's dumped.... >_< soooo much money but ahahahah vote for black ce28 time attacks *drools* - Will
  6. Hey doesnt the ep3 only exist in white? or are there other colours from factory, if so, its very rare. Yeah lucky japs farout would love one of those beasts except they would cost a crapload newayz if they were in aus. Im loving the NA cars now after being converted from turbo, but as great as the type R's are, they only have 2 doors understandably. Thats where this FD2 comes in, you get to have the best of both worlds sorta B) . Wonder what the specs and upgrades are on the Mugen one *drools*, might google it if bothered. I also wish the EK civic type R was in aus, I would've been keen for one of those. - Will
  7. Congrats on the car, ive always thought it was a pretty sick looking civic, better looking than its younger brother. My only beef with it was that it was so expensive becuz of its low numbers. However I'm not really feeling the rims. With the type R cars i'd be careful in making mods to it as I wouldnt want to disturb its already well tuned and balanced package from the factory. But as good as it looks, I reckon it'd look better with aftermarket rims and lowered. Judging by your stivo u've got good taste B) will be following the build of ur car. - Will
  8. Hey man, another idea on the side could possibly be the battery. How long have you had the car for? If its pretty new then it prob wont be the battery. Does the car ever feel like it has to struggle a bit wen trying to start it? The egg smell can come from the sulfuric acid in the battery where the fluids have all dried up leaving behind just the egg smelling sulfur. I propose this because in my s15 for a period of time the car would struggle a bit when trying to start. When the battery finally died I could faintly smell rotten eggs in the engine bay coming from the battery terminals. So yeah, if you start to smell it again, and its coming from the engine bay, check the battery and sniff the terminals lol. Although I doubt its the battery as ZRE's are quite new cars with new batteries. - Will
  9. haha yeah, was gonna say it looks fantastic, but now everything else around it looks crap in comparison . - Will
  10. Yeah car looks promising. Any more pics of it at different angles? - Will
  11. Great video, that 2zz MR-S was awesome and showed every1 just how potent a light weight NA car can be around the track. Lol at the turbos overheating and slipping on the semi wet surface. Sadly the s2k had a crap race, but was prob becuz the plan to use wet tyres didnt work out. Would love to see more of these versus kinda races. - Will
  12. The subayota car has been dumped? Thats such a shame, I was so looking forward to it, was heralded as a possible replacement to the ae86 or wuteva. As for this TRD corolla, they could've made it much better. It looks like an ascent or sumthing, where's the body kit? They could've done a better job on rim choice as well as those look crap. Where's the power parts for the car like TRD muffler and CAI, let alone a SC? Good idea but could've been such a better car. I think you guys were right in that they didnt take this car that seriously and just wanted to clear stock. Sorry to offend those that own one, but it could've been much better. - Will
  13. New corolla sportivo? man I wish...Doubt it though due to the terrible economy and how car businesses are suffering with profits as is let alone splurge more to research, develop, and design a new sports car. - Will
  14. Sorry to the original poster for totally going off topic, this is actually a decent debate, it just got unnecessarily heated with aggression. A stock AUS s15 is actually quite crap to be honest, for what it has under the bonnet. Stock for stock I can picture an s2k smacking it around on the track easily. As for a straight line, im not so sure but I wouldnt be surprised if the s15 lost again. The thing that people need to realise is that the 15 comes out of the factory crippled. You CANNOT keep these cars stock as its boring as. But then you go to the shops and you buy it a turbo back exhaust for like 500 - 900 or something and BOOM! the real 15 reveals itself. Have you guys seen the stock exhaust on this thing? its the most pathetic thing on the planet. Seriously 1.6 NA echos or wuteva have a bigger exhaust. Me and my mate andrew aka 'lift yo' were looking at one up close on my old s15 and were laughing our asses off. Once that exhaust goes on the 15 awakens and will start belting that s2k, the s2k will still out handle that body rolling 15, but with the car's new power output it will either b really close or the 15 will prob win. As for a drag? the 15 will prob pick up the s2k by the neck and throw it through the wall with one hand. To be fair the s2k can also have 900 bux to spend on a few mods but dollar for dollar the turbo will win. Newayz I just though i'd ad my 2 cents on 15s even though its obvious such cars are totally different. As for the dude wanting the ep3? good taste, those cars are sexy but damn expensive. Sorry again to the original poster :D - Will
  15. heheheheh but ... hehehehee man i love the 2zz ^^ i know this is 2zz owned forum but can i say this, in all honasty the 2zz is nothing special ive never been a fan of vtec, vtil engines get stuck in the wrong gear, rpm range and youll get owned by much slower/less powerfull cars. thats the down side to these high reving engines. therres no substitute for forced induction flame sheild on :( OMG! GET OUT!!!! haha jk. I've done the opposite to what most pll do I suppose. Ive went from a turbo s15 to a Sportivo early this year and currently am loving the high revving engine and the sensation of lift. The loss of power and cornering ability was strongly felt, but the stivo still has plenty of both to make it a really fun car to drive. I 've always had a soft spot for the 'underdog' NA cars who often have a different philosophy to modding. I would have loved to have bought an integra type r but the whole reason I went to the stivo from a 15 was for practicality and 4 doors. - Will
  16. lol I forgot about the fact that the stivo doesnt have IRS, bummer. Maybe thats why you dont really see these kinda set ups. Is it still possible though with just rolling of the guards or do you gotta replace the whole fender for wider ones? - Will
  17. I was thinking about the same thing before. I'd like to see low stivos with fat wide wheels for a really aggressive rough looking appearance. Dunno if it would or would not suit our cars though. - Will
  18. Good looking price. Shame the Aus dollar is crap atm. Thanks for trying levinboy.
  19. Mine didnt come with any floor mats <_< bloody forgot to ask the dude about it until the sale was made. How much do they cost newayz? Hope not much haha. - Will
  20. Hey Daniel, Congrats on picking up the new stivo, and for what seems to be a great price as well. I too have just bought an 05 stivo in silver and just drove it back today from the dealer. Here's hoping for a long time of trouble free motoring for both of us. - Will
