  1. really?? ... but wont the letters lose the adhesive when its wet ????

yer it wont be as permanent - but it stays on

ive got a sticker atm that is just a vinyl and it stays on - no adhesive

and it think once ur one with adhesive dries itll be sweet

    Anyone else wanna confirm?

  2. I got mine on. off center and not straight. and to top it off there are bubbles underneath... hrmm

guys use soapy water underneath before u put them on !!!!

then u can iron out the bubbles AND move it to the right spot without fudging it!

    lol

its not that type of sticker ... this is on the outside ...

iniff - ... hmm maybe I also forgot to mention . before peeling anything off .... I used sticky tape to find the right position ... so I could stand back and have a look ... once you find the right position ... then I used some chalk to draw the line where i wanted it ..

then peel and stick according to the line ...

and use a credit card for bubbles ... take your time ..

sorry for not telling earlier .. i knew I forgot to post something ... though I already did it ...

yer i know its on the outside.. same rule applies

ever watched them apply window tint? its basically a sheet of darkened plastic with adhesive

they spray the window with soapy water then squeegee it out. the adhesive dries and bonds to the window .. just leave it in the sun after ur done or use a hairdryer - but dont leave the hairdryer on too long or the sticker will shrink and curl

i was considering getting a front spoiler from them! i think il take my chances else where. More than likely toyota! <_<

i want a front lip - i aint paying $650 for one tho lol

  5. mate getting around the immobolisher is easy , just get are ecu from the us,make sure u get 00, 01 model as it has are higher rpm(8400) problem solved, wiring shouldn,t be that hard, since the echo has vvti, so it will be missing the wires for the all important lift, so probably end up using the echo harness, but im finding it hard to believe u got are 2zz with gearbox for 2500, when i was looking for mine, u couldn't touch it under 4k just for engine, and who is doing the install for 4k(got are name of the shop and number),1 week yeah right,i bet money on it, just waiting for custom stuff to come will pass that.

    anyway gl

Looks like not much room to spare in that echo:)

yer these things always take longer and cost more !

  6. i parked about 10 spot away from you on the right hand side. my mate said he recognised your car on forum but forgot your name.

    SYDNEY

Silver pre facelift, grill I think chrome 17s and a sunroof driven by a lady with one of those muslim head dresses.

    Love you sunroof! im jealous!

Was turning off homebush drive onto the bankstwon turnoff before the overpass to the south.

    I think its milperra rd?

  7. blow the exhaust on it for a bit to warm the plastic up and cut it with a Stanley knife...

use one of those thin coping saws .. i think its called coping saw ... it looks like a letter D with a thin blade inside and its serrated .. it allows u to cut smooth shapes rather than straight lines... use wet and dry sandpaper to sand back any rough bits afterwards

and yes.. leave ur car exhaust blowing for a while to heat the plastic!

    Hope that helps

  8. im no motor sparky! so i might need help on installation! im keen Dan!

    PAID 8:40am

I pm'ed you the details of where i want it shipped mate. For the 6000K kit for my rolla.

    Cheers

PS - Corzza this kit is simple to install its plug n play. Should take 15mins for a newbie

  9. yep, it's easy to do. Just remember the finish you get will come down to your prep work.

You can buy custom-mix spray packs from autobarn for $26ea, one will do a set of mudflaps easily. I've done a whole bumper with two of them a couple of years ago.

Get the paint guys to put some flex-add into the paint so it had a bit of flex in it and wont crack, and use plastic bumper primer to prime the mudflaps after scuffing them with the scotch-brite pads or 800 grit wet/dry.

I give them a couple of coats of bumper prime then rub them back lightly with the 800 wet/dry so the colour coat can key properly to the smooth primer. After a couple of coats of the colour, I then give 5 or 6 coats of clear... Should turn out very nice. Just dont put the colour on too thick like pippy ;)

    Sweet thanks man

Autobarn sell all that stuff right? i might as well give it a go

  10. Would you have an instruction book you can post?

Not sure where that black box in the picture is susposed to connect.

When you say "There's 1 set of H4, and 1 set of H7's" does that mean for each pack that is sent out?

Anyone had experience with these Techone kits before I go and buy one?

    Cheers

    PM me if its negative:)

  11. Mah gawd Habib! that price sounds goooddd,,, :o

but do you have any H3 kit ?????

if so , tell please, I'm up for one !

    Where are these made?

Will they fit low beams on the rolla?

Does it come with bulbs and ballast?

Better than the other group buy ones? :)

If so I will put name down for 6000K ta

  13. any chance of a photo that does a bit more justice to the tints? i dont really follow what u mean with this metalised thing

the tint is coloured by using metal instead of black dye. So it looks slightly reflective - not mirror tint tho.

When you go to get your tints done the guy has all the tints on his Maloo - u can check em out to see which u like best.

  14. illegal would i be correct. Had much trouble with the good guys about it?

    thanks for the number mate

yup illegal - i got metalised so its not noticeable that its really dark

no trouble from pigs - but i can see out of it with no dramas.. and at night its clear too

    35% is the legal limit
