has anyone looked into modifying there steering wheel with later model so it has the buttons for air con control buttons on the steering wheel

Best thing to do is get it fixed under warranty every time it happens, then out of warranty replace with aftermarket.

They told me they'll CHARGE me for it..

I have been thinking about this after the check, It SHOULD be fixed under the warranty shouldn't it?.

It is definitely covered by warranty unless you ran out already.. So don't let them charge you for machining the rotors. This happens to all the new Prado's all the time with low kilometers.

Sorry for ignorance but how is this covered by warranty? when its part of everydays wear and tear?

I don't think this is covered by warranty as it wear and tear same with tyres - RDA rotors are very good if toyota hasn't used them.

but anyone else correct me if Iam wrong.

Can someone describe the exact issue with the wrong seat covers and the air bag effects please?

In the Aurion (and other cars with the feature as well) the airbags deploy from the side portion of the seats. The seat material itself is constructed so that when the airbag deploys, it will break through the material easily. If you put seat covers over it that aren't designed properly, they can alter the way that the airbag deploys by causing it to inflate in the incorrect direction, slowing down inflation time (which in an accident is extremely critical; the airbag can inflate in as little as 70 milliseconds), or prevent it from fully inflating at all.

Seat covers that are designed for such use will have special stitching, perforations, and/or weakened areas in the position of the airbag so that the airbag will push though it with ease and inflate correctly.

For ease of identifying, your seat airbag deploys near the location indicated by the 'SRS SIDE AIRBAG' tag attached to the seat. For lack of a better image, you can see in this illustration the side seat airbag which deploys just above the area indicated by the tag on the seat:

Yes 620km when i first noticed my fuel light come on unfortunately i paranoid cause i don't know approx how many kms i can travel before stallings

I know on my ford EB has trip meter on 73 tank and 4l motor travelled i do 650km thats morning doing 50km 3am no traffic on motorway and afternoons bumper to bumper 50km home trip. My trip meter starts beeping when i have 80km travel left and its pretty accurate taken it down to 1km.

Iam picking up my beast 2mmrow toyota 07 model atx second hand with 37000km, I read some where where the first 4 15000km services are capped @ $120.00 for first 60,000km.

does this apply to used vechiles that are bought from toyota dealership.

Iam not sure but Iam asumming my car is an ex fleet or hertz hire car.

So cheapest by ship would be about $1037.00. Does anybody have a rough idea how much to prime and paint a lipkit like this would cost through a panel beater?

If its cheap enough im getting it before christmas. Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaahh.

Are you sure its US dollar he quoted you. Because i got quoted the above prices, which totals a max of 1000 singaporian dollars. 800 for kit and 200 shipping, both prices singaporian. Which is fairly close to the aussie dollar. And my last email, which was about 4 weeks ago it was still same price. He also has to have the kit in stock or it can take up to 4 weeks to get to you.

With this GST your talking about, who charges that. Ive never brought anything over 1000 dollars from overseas. How does the gst work.

VFX, that is just the standard thailand camry grill, but just painted. If you go to ebay, Nick Wang is selling on there for $149.00. You would just have to have it colour coded.

Yeah they have two catalogues, the new catalogue is pretty cool, new curves. But these kits aint what i looking for, as they would make a atx look like a sportivo. And why bother when you could just upgrade your car to a sportivo. The also sell the parts invidually if you want. I have the guys name on my work email address, but dont go back to work till the 2 feb, I got the quote about 8 months ago, i think the quote was around 2k painted and delivered, for the full kit. If you want the contact details pm me after the 2nd. But im only there till the 14th as im off to nevada los-vages for work.

You really puzzle me man. You need to learn how to perform searches for yourself, both here and away from the forums. All you need to do with this one is do a Google Image search. Then you will see the Camry spoiler looks like this:
