Decided what Iam going for now 19inch in this style of rim

also what did you use to mount the grill down either end as the original platic pull plugs were not long enough i used bolt and nut either end of the grill.

What do you guys think of these rims on a White Aurion

This is just my personal opinion Azza:

1st set: would look awesome on a white car, but have to be 20's. Anything smaller wouldn't look right. See examples of good ones on camry club thailand gallery, they have some white camrys with white rims, and they look the bomb.

2nd set: would look alright, and would suit the vehicle, as chrome does suit white cars .............but to someone that doesnt know the aurion, they would think the wheels came with the car, off the production line. IMO they wouldnt look that flash, definately not a head turner.

3rd set: seen them on SUV's and utes. They look good by themselves in the shop, but on vehicles they look crap. You would atleast need them to be 22's to have a effect.

4th set: Seen a similar set on a grey commy and they looked aright. Not sure about a white vehicle. The concave would set them off whilst driving. But whilst standing still, i reckon they would look a bit empty - too much gap, which makes the wheel look small.

Overall If it was me, I would get a set of 20's in the first one. They would look sic. TS20 - tint the crap out of your windows and it would look mean as. I dont think anyone has colour coded wheels to suit their car. Gotta be 20s though.

Would 19 scrub my guards when full load ? i know trd came out with them also few more rims considering

my car has very dark tint

I just recieved my aurion sports grill today and my roof spoiler lip and boot lip with my trd side skirts just need to decide on front and rear lips now...

Can people check around there inner back door wheel archs and up when you open your doors and see if they have surfuce rust popping thru there paint

and around there top boot rubber between there windscreen and boot rubber

bummer - the gen5 new 08 liberty scoop which i posted ealier in part of the bonnet and not seperate piece onlt the fron grill part is seperate.

I thought of purchasing the liberty bonnet then to my amazement it over 1000 dollars so there go that idea my hunt continues for low profile classy scoop

yeah that looks good too......

but i think the colour of the car play big role and rim and body kits can some take picture of there bonnet inside so i can see how the suppourt structure is

Me too, all we need is someone to be the guinee pig and to get one made up, therefore all the engineers specs would be approved for the design from then on, making the next purchases real easy.

I was at the newsagency today and saw 300 pages book guide to lemon or something had every car manufacture and models,

I flicked thru it and saw aurion got good write ups - only problem they listed was the steel rims saying that they were not all welded correctly from factory hence the vibrations.

they also said only real fix was to replace the rims.

more for looks but if you have an openning and no exit the wind velocity will just peel it off

I had a white car for the last 10 years, my new Aurion is black. I must say that white was so easy to maintain when comparing to black! However, many people were not keen on white, even heard of some stats a while back indicating that white has less appeal and thereby not having the same resale value... I'm surprised by your comment that white is a best seller in the car yard.

Yes, it does look good with a dark tint. The contrast makes the tint appear even darker than it actually is.

This was quoted by freind of mine that works as salesman for audi.

I agree some cars don't look good in white.

But yeah White & Silver 2 most popular colours for resale to dealerships

It's not called double standards mate. There is a difference between asking repeat questions, and posting photos to show off your ride in a similar fashion to the 'Members Rides' section. This thread falls along the lines of the latter. It is a different type of thread.

My question is why couldn't he post it under the other 20 inch rim thread it would of still got looked at by all members thats what baffles me and the threads still in the top 5 post which people would of clicked on.

also if falls under members rides then why wasn't it posted in members rides?
