  1. Any one know how to get the steering wheel buttons to enter in the setup? Ive found the steering wheel set up, and the buttons are showing the input voltage, just cant lock them in...

Whoops i forgot to reply to this bit....i think the software would be somewhat similar to the one in the Aurion/Camry

so go to this thread: Another Head Unit i think it's on that page somewhere and might help. One person had the same problem and was able to fix it.

    Good luck!

    Post more pictures soon!

When i get one, i'll post some pictures too!

  2. Mine arrived today and fitted it this arvo.

    Perfect fit.

This is Toyota "AURIS" unit #QL-ARS728 not the Corolla sedan unit.

Seems quite good so far. Comes with IGo GPS software but can take TomTom,PolNav and others.

Oooh....ahhhh....that looks good, i'm gonna hit the buy button soon...which supplier did you get it from? Did you get a reverse camera?

    Installation was straight forward?

  3. Sorry, searching for "Toyota Links" but could not find any. After 3 years free, now getting a letter saying to keep this I have to pay $240/year. Is it expensive, reasonable or dirt cheap ?

    BH

It does reduce your insurance premiums, just remember to tell your insurance company that you have vehicle tracking.

And as long as don't pay for any other Road Side Assistance (Road Side Assistance is included in the $240 annual price), it is worth it for piece of mind.

  4. Square Sponge Profiles

    Rectangular Sponge Profiles

EPDM Sponge or Neoprene Strips at Clark Rubber

Mount one of these adhesive strips, they come as a sponge type or as neoprene which has less compression, i think you'd be better off with neoprene, on top of the horizontal slat, and then mount the chrome strip on the front side of the foam. The depth of the slat is about 20mm, you can get the square one of the rectangular one, but i think for the rectangular one the adhesive is on the back of the longer length. So you may end up having to buy a large size and slicing it off, or just get the 19mm by 19mm square profile.

  5. Autoone are having 25% off Mother's Products (until 27th June), go and get your clay bar.

Edit: The car looks great, great exhaust, nice house! Yes lay down some logs before those mudguards get scratched.

  6. Ok. Well, here is a shop of a single chrome line on the bottom grill.

I'm still unsure. But I think colour coding the bottom grill will be a bad mistake.

I think the single colour coded horizontal slat looks good....now go do it...

  7. It depends on how bright they are.

If they are as bright as the brake lights when activated then you will have to make them light up with the brakes.

If they are not then definitely set them up as parkers, since their main function is to reflect lights from cars approaching your vehicle from behind.

  8. Also, I have uploaded a new picture. I need to re-shoot my car park pictures with the new grill. Thanks to VFX for the picture.

    Hmmmmmm........grill...nice.

Wait for me, i'll come with ya for the pics, and we'll drag Vick along. Triple Grill?
