  1. As said, that's store stock only. Good luck finding a store that holds stock of the Aurion rotors (especially in the 4000 Series). They usually only hold stock for the Commonwhores and Falcoons with the occasional Toyota stock.

    Guess what?

Anyway how much are the standard brake rotors on the Aurion?

  2. There is to remotes around for the avalon and 36 series camry there is the one like what's in that image 89780-YF011 RRP$61.60 and one which also has the boot release in it 89780-YF021 $63.25 RRP

Thanks for that, just purchased one today at Toyota.

FYI: Mister Minit sells them for $79.95.

  4. ill let you know in a few weeks. whooops! :P

    (not on stock susp thou..)

Hmmm.... can't wait to see the pictures!

on stock trd suspension, i was running 19x9 +45 with absolutely no problems... no scrubbing, etc...

Thanks for that...now i am just worried about the +38mm offset being too close to the front brake calipers, and not clearing them.

  5. How do you open the remote (pictured in OP) to replace the battery?

lol this is a easy one, your not supposed too :)They make these ones pretty cheap so that you just replace the whole unit every 4ish years instead of just the battery. The case can be opened up but you'll see the battery is held firmly in place with a solder. :)

How much are they? I see one on Ebay for $69.95

  6. In reference to brightness:

It has somewhat to do with aim of the Presara headlights, they are aimed 5 to 10cm lower (from a wall two metres away from the vehicle) than most vehicles (even Lexus vehicles are aimed higher). The colour temperature of the Presara's bulbs does 'seem' to be lower than other cars as well.

The next time you are in the lane next to any vehicle with HIDs (very likely to be a Honda Accord Euro), note the height of the aim on the car in front of them, it will be quite higher than the Presara's.

  7. Nice pictures, tail lights match up well with the black Auris Emblem. Actually the colour scheme of the whole vehicle is looking good!

Q: Did the Auris emblem come in black, if it didn't how'd you go about getting it the colour it is?

  8. GPS receiver placement:

There is a metal cylindrical pipe running behind the speedometer cluster, i mounted it on top of it with the magnetic part pointing down

I too left that silver foil sticker on the GPS receiver. It seems to be receiving, and locking ok haven't timed it but doesn't seem to be 4 minutes. But i haven't driven the vehicle much, as the vehicle isn't mine.

I've spent the past little bit making up a Corolla image for the GPS.

    Looking good.

  9. I remember reading on a few Lexus forums that the Garax bulbs are good and work. Anyone confirm this?

I can confirm i read a topic on the Lexus forum as well, and at the time i was thinking that the IS250 would have the same bulbs as most Toyota's

I then i go to the Garax website with the link to the IS250 6000K bulbs but they read D4C, but i am going to assume that the D4C and D4S are one in the same bulb.

Anyways the ZR i have access to just got a warranty replacement on both bulbs @ about 33 months, so will wait till the next time they go out before replacing them with some aftermarket bulbs.
