Thanks to your Mum.

Don't let the 7-11 badge fool you, my car performs no different running 7-11 98 than it does Ultimate or Mobil 8000.
Last time I saw, my local 7-11 was getting filled by a Shell tanker.
7-Eleven has bought 295 Mobil Petrol Stations and will deliver Mobil Fuels.

depends where you go in sydney you get different prices for the additional costs of fuel, for eg. i went to bp on the horsley drive yesterday to fill up, advertised at 115.9 for e10, poured ultimate which is 22c/L more, it was at 137.9.
i went to a different bp and saw the price of ultimate to be a difference of about 15c/L, so depending on the servo.
That BP that you are talking about, has always been operating on 'hidden' costs. It displays Credit Card Surcharges, and is about the only one i've ever seen with a hefty hike in price for premium petrols.

What is the recommended tyre size for a 18" kappa wheel?
For comfort and quiet ... which brand tyre is better ... Just hope to have more choices available, thinking of getting 5x new kppa wheels and thus 5x new tyres.
Kappa wheels at 18" use 245/40R18 tyres but expect to pay $380-500 per tyre. If you want the best possible tyres for grip and comfort combined IMO go with Michelin Pilot Sport 3. I got a quote of $449 per tyre fitted.
Kappa's 18x7.5 = 225/45R18. The PS3's in this size are load rated at 91, so you won't be able to use these.

Trial fit of OEM Grande/Sportivo/Touring 17" 5 spokes, thoughts everyone?
Sorry about crap photos, all done with camera phone. :(
The dealer/toyota has no objections about fitting larger wheels to the hybrid? And that there are no effects on the hybrid system/drivetrain?

Are you sure? On mine they say 44PSI.
You are reaching the tyres maximum pressure. You are putting too much stress on the tyre. Lower it soon.
It's dependent on the tyre, most manufacturers have a limit of 51 PSI, some do have 44PSI.
What tyres are you running?
-
Only in Sydney mate. ULP91 still available in Victoria as normal. Why are they taking it out in Sydney? I will never use this E10 crap ever.
It's a State Parliament Mandate

u54mot, is that you on whirlpool asking the same question? :P

If you are saying you are getting the Low Fuel Light on at 450 km, then your car is doing about 12.5L/100Km.
The Aurion is made to light up when about 55-56 Litres has been used, and the range is also calculated to hit zero just a short time after that.
Your tyre pressures are way too high!
If you read the sidewall of your tyre, your maximum tyre pressure is most probably 51PSI. When you are driving at high speeds, the pressures in your tyre is most probably approaching that maximum rating, and you are risking a tyre failure, and also uneven, and greater wear.
Recommended: 37-38psi

Since Unleaded Petrol(91) is being phased out by all Petrol Stations, I was just wondering what are the additional costs of the premium fuels over E10.
Vortex95 +11.5c/L
Vortex98 +15.5c/L
Mobil95 +12c/L
Mobil98 +16c/L
Shell95 +12c/L
V-Power +16c/L
BP95
Ultimate
Boost98(E10)
Premium98
Premium100(E10)
Can someone fill in the rest or correct them, thanks.
Can someone also correct me if i am wrong for the following:
Shell E10 -RON94
Mobil E10-RON93
BP E10-RON91
Caltex E10-RON91
United Plus ULP-E10-RON95
Thanks.

Although the pumps at Caltex say E-Pump, and you have to use the Woolworths Credit Card.
Has anyone tried using their Non-Woolworths Credit/Debit Card with an EMV chip to pay for their petrol at the pump?
I do not have a credit/debit card with an EMV chip to try.
(Note: the Woolworths Credit Cards are issued by HSBC, so if any HSBC credit/debit card holders could give it a go, that'll be great.
Thanks.

Fingers crossed though we get some sun in the upcoming week. :)
It will cease to rain on Monday. Then sunny for the rest of the working week. Sunday is looking a bit dodgy, but maybe ok.

Here is an actual picture of the aftermarket head unit in dash
-
These units take up the whole space between the silver parts of the dash. It is larger than a double din, and supposedly fits right across the dash.
Like the OEM GPS units in these pictures.
Btw, i have been informed by an Australian seller of these units, that they do fit in ZRE Hatch.

Hey all,
I'm having a look at one of these, and considering on purchasing it and installing it.
Has anyone had any experience with it, and know how easy it is to install?
Also where would you recommend on purchasing it from?
There are a few on Ebay, using search terms " Corolla GPS HD "
Thanks.

It's on page 52 of the Owner's Manual.

Are you coming up to Sydney for the annual meet?
-
I ended up purchasing my G220 locally then buying the 2.0 Pads and backing plate from the US. I also bought 1Gal of M205, 32Oz of M105 and 1Gal of M83 from the US as well. Saved me around $200-300 over buying it locally but cost over $100 in freight. The advantage with buying from the US is that you can access a lot of the other products that are not sold in Australia.
Where did you source the products from?

FYI: There is a set of 19" Gunmetal TRD Wheels at a Sydney Wheel and Tyre Store if any wants them. I've thought about buying them, but i don't think so.
They look as if they are brand new and in very good condition
I wonder how much they ripped off the guy who once owned those.
Edit: Gawd I so want those.
Daryl, if you really want them i'll let you know where, when you get down to Sydney next week.

Rukus Build 3: $35 880.24
The advantages of a Rukus

:( I was actually looking forward to this...
Can someone confirm that it has the 2AZ-FE? And wasn't there a supercharger made for it in the US?
I'm probably getting excited over nothing again.
It is the 2AZ-FE, and yes there is/was a TRD Supercharger Kit for it in the US.
