  1. Looks the goods Michael. Loving the colours in the backdrop as well.

Damn, you should have told me to move my car out of the way. Didn't realise it was in the field of view. Need some of that Photoshop content aware thing to hide it.

That actually looks good with two Aurions in the picture.

The pictures look very good! I might have to drive to Brisbane one day just to get in a photoshoot.

The tail lights do look good on a Black TRD.

  2. Small update:

1 x JDM Autobac/Carmate Number Plate Bracket (Made in Japan/Discontinued Item)

Purpose: Nothing lol, JDM points perhaps? Tilts...

Tilts....to create less frontal impact on wind, reduces drag coefficient, pushes air into the radiator to assist cooling, and all this leads to two things:

    1. Lower fuel consumption........from 7.5L/100km to 7.49L/100km

    2. Enhance vehicle performance from 100kW to 100.001kW

  3. Thanks mate...i breifly thought that about the strip on top of the garnish but i think i will wait to see what the slightly tinted tailights look like before i choose the next azz mod ;) removing the rear bar reflectors & filling in the gap is really starting to rear it's ugly head again, this also could be in future plans :g:

still sooo much to do to make her all smooth...

Take a look at these Smoked Rear Bar Reflectors with LEDS instead of filling in the gaps.

  4. LOL. Vick wont let me sell it.

    Sorry people. I'm keeping it!

Thanks Vick! lvoe you long time.

Good to hear. Now go collect it and put it on. Do it at night so the missus won't know...haha.

Edit: I forgot to say, thanks for the offer, Jeff!

  5. Are you sure it is coming from within the doors?

If you take a look under the front seats there is a hole in the carpeting, with wiring for the front seat going through it.

The hole is large enough for something to roll into. and when it does, the object will roll left and right hence making the rattling/rolling noises.

Just stick your hand in there and reach around, I think you may want to do this after a hard left turn, as the hole is on the right.

  6. Wow... Lookin good mate... Haha..Glad to level this beast up..

U54mot, I'm glad to show how it looks on a black car to you. Or I can just sell Jeff's one to you.. LOL!! Jkzz

I'll take you up on the first statement. You should take more pictures of the grill on your car, there is only one picture on your car's page.

    <_<

Are you turning up to this weekend's meet?

You can sell me Jeff's grill then. haha.

  7. thanks mate :) i got the grill from the group buy... whicch sourced them from r style racing in thailand.

quality wise i was very suprised... the chrome grill feels really solid and has no visible defects... it acctually feels more solid than the original aurion sportivo grill i had on there previously!

id highly recommend it, im loving the look of the cars front now... love pulling up behind someone with a shiney paint panel at the lights now :P

thanks for the comments, will have the ducktail fitted after i get back from os, along with some more mods i have lined up! *evil grin*

Grill is looking good...good to hear that the quality is up there....

    now....aiy...the question is

to grill or not to grill...

    :help:

  8. Nice wheels and tyres. Yes you will need more shots

you best get out there, do some skids, and get the new wheels and tyres on! :P

Looking at that first picture, i think there seems to be some tyre marks on the ground...It's a matter of do as i do.

Looks sweet mate. It's a double win. Good looking wheels, plus great grip.

Agree, very good grip with those tyres!

  9. I drove my TRD from Adelaide to Gilgandra (also happens to be 20km out from where Sam was written off), where I will be spending the evening having a good rest ready for the drive to Brisbane tomorrow.

I learnt the hard way that driving during the day does not necessarily mean that you will end up with minimal to no bugs. Driving between Adelaide and Gilgandra, I encountered many, MANY plagues of bugs. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had never seen so many bugs out during the day. I don't even think I have encountered as many bugs before even during the evening.

Luckily I found a truck wash here so I spent about 30 minutes pressure cleaning the front end including around the radiator and engine bay. It's back to a decent state now, but when I get back to Brissy, it looks like I will be spending the weekend cleaning my car... including removing the front bumper.

    What a disaster:

The Laws of Attraction are greater for the TRD!

  10. Going off the Kumho site KU27's 225/45 R18 XL go for $380 :( But i will check with a tyre shop tomorrow.

I knew the Adrenalins are gonna wear quick but i will read some more reviews they seem to be very popular.

The Kumho website prices are there for decoration. They are definitely priced at about $275 at Tyrepower.

  11. It took me a month of Sundays to get hold of a genuine repair manual for our Echo and now that we've just purchased our Aurion, I would love to know just where it is that I can get my hands on a set of genuine repair books for the Aurion. Where did you pick yours up from if you don't mind me asking ???

    Steve

That was a page from the internet somewhere.

But i think you can find the whole lot here

Also as i recall there is a page somewhere in this forum about the repair manuals.
