Haha yeah that sounds like initial d. It was the live action one with jay chow. Go Hachi Roku!

Car is looking really good mate. How come you used K&N filter? Is the one supplied with TRD too long?
Yep. Since mine is a facelift model the foglight is completely different to the prefacelift one and it sticks out a lot more which goes in the way of the pod filter. I still have it lying around somewhere.

Azza car looking great

Me of course. Have you seen this thread?

I am really interested in doing the projectors/angel eyes
car is coming along great!!pretty impressed with that engine cover... any chance for a `group discount from your family associate?
if not, what would it cost singularly
cheers
I painted the engine cover myself haha. But if you are talking about the eyelids then not too sure. But i know they should only cost around $80-$100

Today I did the JDM tail lights, installed eyelids and installed 2/4 illuminated door sills. What an afternoon

Done!
A little disappointed with the quality of the painting due to the low quality of the actual eyelids. Since they were made from fibreglass it was really hard to sand as bits of fibre would fall off. But overall my car looks really good with them on! ( I really should start a my ride thread since I also did the JDM Taillight mod today as well as 2/4 illuminated door sills. didn't have enough light to finish off all 3 mods...)

Done!
Just to add how I did it.
I took the lights off the car and I used a soldering iron to melt the hole. Then I drilled holes on the plate and stuck the wire down it and screwed in a screw to hold it in place. Thanks and1 for that tip!

No lights at all

I'd be very interested in hooking up a true keyless ignition system into my car (05 sportivo). Any pointers Daryl? ie what brand etc?

Just opened up my tail lights to have a look at what needs to be done. Facelift model. Finding the last screw was a pain (the top one) but once I had everything off, the only things needed to be done was to solder a piece of wire from the brake light contact to the new one and put the bulb in. and drill/burn out the hole. Simple just need to buy some bulbs and I'll probably install it tomorrow.
A big thanks to jaderd for making this a whole lot easier =)
-
So the reason to install one of these is just because of the "look" factor?
I want to install one of these where you just have to have the keys in your pocket and you can just push the button to start the car without having the key in the ignition...
-
Since I don't have a ride page yet I'll just update here till they are on my car haha. Went to check on them today and the guys just started sanding them. However he just mixed up a batch of paint in the same colour as my car for another repair so hopefully they will get painted tomorrow morning (yes they work on saturdays).
Keep you guys posted as I hear more info about them. (I'll take some before shots.....)

Yet another politician trying to justify their worth by doing nothing.
+1
So for NSW there is the new speeding rules that I believe is the raise revenue. Now this. Whats next? raising the legal driving age to 25? lol
-
You got to hand it to everyone tho. Every post was in a different section of the forum haha. But on topic, will this apply if i get king lows? Cause I know they lower your car by 3.5 cm so what happens then?
-
hehehe 2 members on these forums just got eyelids for their facelift corolla. I think it will fit yours but you'll have to do a bit more research. http://topstage.com.au/ got to products -> toyota -> corolla.
Cost about $80 to "custom" make them then $20 for postage. The best thing would be to send them an email to see if they'll post your way

eyelids look good!
are those seat covers by the company `OXS?
I'm pretty sure they are called AXS
dam the eyelids look nice! Mine r in the shop
which shop did you end up using?
Dad saw my eyelids and said "why don't you ask X to do them?" so i'm like ok. The person is a family friend and is doing them for me for like nothing. When he looked at them he was like shocked to see how bad a quality they were in haha
