  1. Wow when i was first reading this thread i didn't even think that this could be the same problem that my car was having. But now that I think about it, it could be. My problem is that when I start the car and leave it to idle, the car makes a rattling noise like "young." said, a 5c coin rattling away somewhere under the bonnet. The noise is constantlly there. I can't really hear it whilst at speed but whenever i'm stopped and idling its there

I'm no mechanic so would someone be able to tell me what to look for when looking for the drive belt tensioner or the alternator bracket? (yes i know where the alternator is but not sure what to tighten)

  2. for me: All black can with red logo Please (photo attached) :)

Btw mIC, any word on colours available from Saikou Michi sales ppl?

    Cheers

think i did put siakou's reply on page 2..

he does normal colours and told me he will update the site..

bottom left hand corner of the homepages... info about the colours

so stivo guys.. 9mm in/out IT IS!!

Ok thats cool. I want the red can with white logo and black border. If i can't get that then i'll get the black with red logo like yuro

Edit: with the colour, is it just the colour of the can or just the logo? Also found this on the website

Colors are limited to standard choices, but you are in luck if you like Matte Black, I like Black, but I can do others like Red, Blue, Orange, Glossy Black, and if you like the Bare Aluminum style, I can do that no problem, you just wont be seeing any "blingy" polished jobs here.

  3. Definitely want the red can white logo black outline!

And with the 9mm out... is that going to be hard to find a reducer? 22mm -> 9mm? either way i guess i don't mind so yeah 8=9mm in/out sounds good

If 22mm hoses aren't hard to find then why not.

Will confirm if bunnings have got those.

    Keep you posted.

Sorry about this. Been a tad busy I almost forgot about it :spiteful:

    :P :P :P :P :P

True. i'll go have a look at bunnings/SCA/Repco tomorrow @ north Parra if i have time and look for the 22mm pipe

  4. thx and1 for helping me out!!

    hey~

think the best way for the 2zz is to have a 9mm inlet/outlet for the can

use your stock hose and connect the HOSE 2 (9mm) to the TANK without removing the HOSE 4

HOSE 2 & 4 are the same hose

i was looking for a hose reducer on the net 22mm==>9mm... but no luck! think its too big

    is it ok?

if yes, i'll start collecting money again

Why is it that we can't have a 9mm inlet and 22mm outlet? Just curious

  5. Hmmm just checked BoM

    Forecast for Saturday

Fine with lengthy sunny periods. Some raised dust in the morning. Fresh to strong westerly winds..

Precis: Windy. Raised dust in the morning.

Doesn't sound too bad. I hope the majority comes. Would still love to see everyones cars. Even if its dirty haha

OK heading to villawood now. Hope to see some of you there!

  6. Awww man. and here I measured all 4 pipes. ahhh well here are the dimensions that I got. Use the image as a reference from xploshun

    1: 14.07 mm : hose 13.5mm

    2: 9.03 mm : hose 8.01 mm

    3: 19.04 mm : hose 18.6 mm

    4: 21.74 mm : hose 21.06 mm

first number is the measurement of the nose on the engine

second number is the inner diameter of the hose. I just measured this just in case lol

  7. thanks azzman

btw, a GSV40R is the model code for the Aurion breed

Ooooo haha icic. Well add another one to the aurions then =D

looks like a good mix of cars!!

oh and please don't forget one mystery car

funny that we got the only Prado though.....I'm sure being a TOYOTA forum that there's more then one out there!!

I did say this was an estimate so plenty of room to add mystery cars. and Mish the Prado was your's. Are you bringing that or the mystery car? :P

  8. did a search and found this

    http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=12022

i have no idea what that jack au did..

but i also checked the link inside.. its in JAPANESE..

    http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/250163...20676/note.aspx

i think CHA5E told him not to touch hose no.2 & 4 shown in that jap website.

    am i right??

also the japanese install guide says the hose ID for no.1 and no.3 are both 15mm (5/8")

now guys.. go do some measuring!!

OK count me in as well.

    2zz - NSW

I'll try to help out with the hose dimensions when i get a chance to go to my car.

Just to clarify, we need measurements for all 4 points in the attatchment image?

  9. yeah I had the same problem. I had to have the clutch fork pivot bolt lubricated. I haven't had a problem since.
Yep I have the same problem. Need to grease the pivot point of the clutch fork

High chance this will be your solution.

Thanks guys, will get them to do this next service and see how it goes.

Now that I'm more awake and not posting at 5am i'll elaborate a little.

I tried putting some grease on the pivot point just smearing it onto it. This seemed to help a little but then the squeek came back. I am yet to fix this completely as I'll probably need to remove the clutch fork to get behind the pivot point to grease it up
